Well no delivery yesterday either. That's despite the call I had from them on Tuesday morning so 3 working days later I'm still without my order that was already a week old when I spoke to them. It actually makes the situation worse. Until I emailed and they called me they are able to hide behind the "lost in the process / waiting on stock" argument, but now they are aware of the situation and told me they would ship the Kreg jig and screws and back order the plane sock. I really did think I'd have got the jig the following day.

I'm not sure if it's just me but if I order online I generally expect next day delivery. I'm pretty chilled if it take two or three days but if I'd let a customer down (and we all make mistakes and have issues) then I would have ensured I fixed it with a next day delivery.

I often think that anyone can have issues but it's how you deal with them that is important. I know a lot of you have had good experiences with Yandles but my experience has been poor. I was sort of hopeful that I'd be able to go back onto their Facebook page and update my comments to say they'd sorted it out but, I'm still waiting.

Anyone going today - do please feel free to mention my order! Maybe when buying something tell them you don't want the same experience as me! :)

Well to update this, my Kreg jig finally arrived around 10 days later than I expected it. Credit to Yandles for finally getting it to me, but I still don't feel that they did a great job.

Anyone can have an issue but it's how you deal with the issue that is important. After I raised the issue with them via email and social media I got a call (all good). The issue was explained, they were waiting for one item that I had ordered, they said they should have called to see how I wanted to proceed but that didn't happen. We agreed that they would ship the jig (most urgent) and a few bits but the plane sock would go on back order. However that was on Tue and the goods didn't arrive till late Friday. If I'd have been Yandles I would have got the items to the customer as next business day.

I want to like Yandles but I'm too impatient to wait for days and days for things. From what I can see on Facebook and here I'm not the only one who has had delivery issues. Maybe Yandles need a new courier or a better solution to their supply chain.

I really do want to like them as they seem like a real shop for woodworkers!

They are, but they are also just a small rural sawmill with a tool shop attached.
They don't have a huge warehouse loaded with stock and lots of staff to process orders. It's hardly a surprise that orders will get delayed due to stock availability or not having enough staff to pack orders when the shop might be busy.
I'm afraid people just have to accept that if they're ordering from small operations they wish to support that things might not be so slick as with the big players. At least their prices are often very competitive.

The shop and yard are fascinating though and well worth a detour to visit if you're ever in the area.
