what are the main attractions/reasons for attending this show? I noticed from their site they have a self-serve woodshop which looks cool, anything else worth going for (apart from meeting the UKW'ers that is).

Byron, if you go there and intend to buy some wood, look through it carefully. When I was there with Rob and he was looking for some, they had some nice air dried stuff but some pieces had worm in it. Just need to be a bit careful and look at each piece.

Last year all hardwood was reduced by 20% and each board was marked up with a price which is something I really like. There were loads of trade stands (loads) selling goods at reasonable prices (and one could haggle too, eh Waka :wink: )

I think last year's Yandles might well be the best value haul of good hardwood I have had to date

Sounds good, I think I might try and convince my boss to give me saturday off so my and SWMBO can go, I do need to get some wood for a table project coming up.

Anyone know of a good B&B or cheap room near by? I'll probably travel up on friday night, stay over and go to the show on saturday.

This Yandles is starting to sound very appealing, if not for some bargains (sadly spent all my pocket money on an Axy T/S :lol: ), so not a lot left ...
But, a great chance to meet fellow UKW`ers, as I have not managed to get to any of the Bashes, work commitments, blah, blah, blah!!!

Will name tags be optional :lol: :lol:
