I can't compete with that Christmas cactus, but the Poinsettia I bought last year is still growing and the new leaves look as if they may be starting to turn red. I normally manage to kill them before 12th night.

mine is still going too. normally, we are on the 2nd one before Christmas Day and that one is on its last legs by New Year's Day.

no red on mine though and the new leaves are green.
 
In our old house we had high ceilings and I kept xmas cacti in hanging baskets - I had one three feet wide and nearly three feet deep.
Poinsettias need hours of total darkness to turn red.
 
Our one seemed to be losing loads of flowers... Now I know why.
