Agreed !!!
If a company that does travels to the woodworking shows eg North of England show at Harrogate could use them as a part of their stand for say 2 or 3 years they would get a good public viewing and be appreciated; better than sat on top of that wardrobe.

Nice models - but very much doubt he kept making them a secret. Plans for these are widely available, although the best site seems to be www.toysandjoys.com. I have made a couple myself. Looking through the pics you would need a fairly comprehensive workshop - a lot of the pieces for the models are non-standard dimensions so PT, lathe, bandsaw or tablesaw and sander of some sort at a minimum. Wheels can be bought but the rest is generally scratch built.
