This young lad didn't get a good start in life having severe spinal deformity. He's had a major operation and is on the short list for a holiday provided by Happy Days.

His name is Charlie Bewley and he's 13th. down from the top.

Please consider voting for him here:-

You'll need to enter a UK post code even if you live abroad and to be honest I think you could make one up, I used my brothers and it was accepted. They do NOT ask for e-mail, telephone, mobile etc. so I think it's fairley safe

and if you feel like posting here I'll tell his Mum what a good bunch of guys & gals you all are

I voted, I know first hand how painful backs can be, I guess I must count myself lucky to have had my youth.

A big thank you guys, his Mum will be so pleased, I'll post up again when the competition has closed with the results.

BTW we often hear about teenage thugs and druggies but Charlie is nothing like that, on top of his medical probs, his father also died a few years ago.

Well all you guys above, and anyone who just voted without posting the results are in and guess what.....................

Yes, Charlie has WON.................yes he came first and what's more the organisers said his number of votes way exceeded the runner up :D

He's got the holiday of a lifettime and he's so excited.

He can't decide between the Artic (To see some Penguins) America (Where his late father was born) or South Africa (To see some Lions)

So once again a big thank you to all who voted, just a little click and you've helped make a young lad very happy.

Very good news but I hope he doesn't choose to go to the Ar[c]tic since penguins don't live there. He could see some polar bears and walrus though. ;)
