After a previous thread about lighting I cobbled together (as I do with most things) this articulated holder for a 12w Daylight LED panel. It cost £6 & is 7" square (6" plus rim), 12v with mains adaptor (85-265v input) & twist lock connector lead. I added the inline switch for convenience.

The base plate can be hung above the lathe using a french cleat or clamped wherever convenient.

This is much better than my previous bendy arm type of lamp that only had a few LEDs & gave out a very blue type of light.

Ebay. Search for LED panel & they show up in all sorts of shapes & sizes.

The seller I bought from is Price-Pro-Shopping a.k. Trading Hub Global Limited who dispatch from Alloa. I think they either trade under various names or they may be seperate sellers working from the same warehouse.
