Just want to tell the world about the excellent DVDs from Steve Maskery.

A friend kindly bought me parts 4 & 5 (all about bandsaws) and after watching them I had to order parts 1 to 3 :D (Thanks again Henning)

Steve has such a great presentation style - relaxed but without waffle

I've made my first jig already and now looking forward to making a rip fence for my bandsaw.

Buy them - you will not be dissappointed :D

No connection to Steve other than as a very satisfied customer

Glad you enjoy them, Frank!

I can just add that the only reason i would buy these for anyone is because i have them myself and think they are rather good. It was a very enjoyable experience watching these and very helpful, so i can wholeheartidly recommend both all the DVD's and the absolutely top notch service from Steve which is a true gent!

I would go as far as to say almost every woodworker who works with machinery will be enjoying Steve's DVD's.

Does he wear that same bright shirt in the DVD's as he does in the youtube video's? I find somethings very distracting when watching how to video's. I thought about the Band saw video as in my apprenticeship the band saw wasn't used!!! In fact I don't ever remember a band saw in any of the cabinet shop i've ever worked. I do have one now and wouldn't be without it, but I want to learn more about them. I've been using it for re-sawing lately and want to build a fence to get a finer cut. I've seen people use them to cut veneers but i dare say it would be difficult on mine unless it was set up better.

Ah, it's nice to have happy customers. I'm glad you all are pleased with your purchase. I'd like to make more, but that's not going to happen this year, unfortunately.

W - the bright shirt started as a joke, but like many jokes it went on a bit too long and has become more of an albatross, as everyone wants to know why I have such sartorial poor taste!

I hope the content makes up for it, though. My shirts in 3,4 & 5 are bespoke Saville Row and much more toned down :)

Yeh! Sod the jigs....I watch it for the haute couture....

So instead of Ali Pali...we could see you at London Fashion Week soon?
