Workshop Air Filters Are they Worth The Money?

I have the ADE2200, the Jet AFS 500 filter and an old Karcher dust vac which is great for hand held power tools and site stuff.

Tim, coming to think of it you may very well be right because i am sure my old dealer had both the green and blue models on show a few years ago.

FWIW the Record 5 year warranty is only as good as their supply chain. I had a RP DX that went kaboom and although covered under warranty they couldn't guarantee to replace it within 2 months. Not so useful! :shock: Had to buy another one - surprisingly I chose not buy Record!

If you don't get any joy with the dealer you should try Record direct (see their guarantee info item 3.2 http://www.recordpower.co.uk/index.pl?s ... c=1&dp=144 ) . This is what I did when I had a problem with a bandsaw and the dealer was completely useless. Record were very helpful and sorted the problem straight away.
