sorry this got messed up....
Discussion on another thread today...
this my home made air cleaner.....the fan was from a bathroom remodel but a big'un new is about £25....
the air filter is from a high horse power Scania truck, free from a skip.....
now u'll c the electric one way connector........so my unit's are connected to the lights, via this connector and simple bedside lamp type slide switch......
When the lights are on so can the filter with the option of turning them off individually.....
Now the connector, it's there so that I can remove the filter for cleaning SAFELY.....no wiring probs....
mine hang on the Flouresent support chains.....
the fan pulls air from the outside thru the filter...that way the dust is on the outside of the filter....
I think this fan is rated at 11 cubic m of air per hour...
to clean is easy outside in the open air with an airline....
they are very quiet, hardley a prob in my noisey shop.....
the another plus is if ur shop is heated u keep the heat....
Now this is easy to adapt to wall mounting etc.....Looked a commercially made unit from Axminster, price was totally out of order....
mine cost a few hours to make and no money......
get one made, u know u want too......hahaha...
