Hi everyone. Looking for your sage-like! Very much a newbie and although I’ve made a few cabinets etc has mainly been with ply. I’m looking to expand a bit and was thinking of making a shoe bench type thing but like this https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/993568378/farrow-ball-industrialrustic-shoe-bench
Was planning to use some 33x250 pse timber jointed for the sides, base and shelves. Would only be 1200mm long by about 350 deep. Is there any issue using pse in this way? And is it better to rip down to 3 strips for the jointed panels for stability or just stick to 2 (ie 250+100). Will be painted. Have a table saw but no real jointer so keen to avoid having to plane edges. Thanks!
