Hello
I am planning a Jewellery box and want to use Brusso hinges. I have designed to box to have 10mm sides. Then I noticed the first hinge set on this site?
http://www.classichandtools.com/acatalo ... russo.html
Dimensions here
http://www.classichandtools.com/acatalog/pdf_JB-101.pdf
I can't work out what the ideal timber thickness is. It says that the overall hinge width is 0.485 inches which I assume is about 12.5mm So does that mean I need to go thicker than that? 14mm ?
Am I likely to find hinges for 10mm? Or is that too small?
Any help appreciated.
