Workbench Build

Hi Guys,

So I've finally finished my workbench. It's inspired by the one that Paul Sellers put up on Youtube, but having read Chris Schwarz's book I made a few modifications. It's primarily to be used with hand tools and as you can see from the Youtube videos, it was made using hand tools.

Looks like a good solid workbench, it should last you a lifetime - well done!

Thanks, let's hope so. I just hope the 6ft length isn't too limiting. Even if I do build something longer, I'm sure I'll find a way of making do.

Great looking bench. I built similar but mine is only 5ft and I sometimes find it a bit short.

One question. Why have the vice at the right hand side? Are you left handed?

As a little update, I've acquired some oak (12 pews worth), see attached. Looking forward to what I'll be able to turn it into!
