I thought they were before shots, I was waiting for the after!

Nice to see it still!

Nice one Andy, I like to think that I clean up every session, but in reality it does'nt happen and time runs away with you, before you know it it's time to cook dinner, thanks for showing us your workshop anyway, it looks as though you are meticulous and thorough in all you do. :)

Rich.

Well it looks cleaner than mine Andy. I also tend to clean up after each project...unless I am falling over things. How big is your shop?

Well done.

Having spent a lot of time rushing in and out of my workshop and not having time to clean it I spent this Easter break tidying up a bit. I am now trying to clean up my mess every time I have a break or finish for the day jst to kepe on top of it.

The mess isn't as much a problem for me as I have to clean up everytime I use the workshop at home. But for me it's holding onto the buckets of small offcuts and rubbish mixed, with all good intentions of taking it all down to the tip at some pont but never getting around to that, instead just adding to the buckets.

Better shape than my wifes workshop, she dropped five raw eggs on the kitchen floor when she withdrew them from the fridge the other day. :)

I won't post pictures of my current shop as it is a complete disaster at this time but i just got the key for my new one and moved the lathe's in.

It's a completely bare 20 x 34 foot cinder block building with a tin roof. It will probably take me 6 months to get it up to snuff, but that's almost as much fun as the actual work.

Today i'll be moving my work bench in. I made it about 20 years ago while i was doing my apprenticeship in Canada and had it shipped over as i couldn't let it go. I'ts not a very good one but it was done with hand cut dovetails. When it was done my teacher had me make him one as well, it was quite gratifying.

hi all

olly only had the saw about 4 weeks now and it is running great. it came with 1/2" blade which i binned straight away and got a 1" blade and it handles it with no probs.dont know why but did not have to move fence as it cut straight.cuts 9x2 with no probs so at the mo i love it. only thing i had to do is adjust the bottom wheel abit as the blade was sticking out but thats sorted now.hope that helps and will let you all know if there are problems later down the line.
