Hi all.

Recently finished making this set of woodworker knives, as well as a blackwood box to store them in.

Ends of the box are smooth, while the remaining surfaces have a toothing planed surface.

Knife handles are made out of Mertle.

A wood veneer was added to the underside of the lid to lock lid in place.

hi wizer.

Cant take credit for making up the blades. Purchased these separately, and made up the handles to fit.

At this stage, plans are to make up another set of knives (and box) using Huon Pine, and sell them down later on.

These knives are well suited for cabinet work. Such as marking out, cutting veneers, shaping and carving.

Stewie, you safe from the fires down there? See your address is Victoria. Looks bl**dy awful from our papers and TV.

Hi Sammie.

Yes. Not a problem where we are. The State of Victoria's a big area - thankfully.

The experts say, over 85 % of bushfires are deliberately lit.

Its a sad world we live sometimes.
