woodstain problem

Unfortunately, I have applied two different wood stains, manufactured by Sadolin, to a storage barn.
Three elevations are covered with Sadolin Extra Durable Finish and one covered with Sadolin Classic Finish.
My client prefers the Sadolin Classic Wood Stain Finish. What is the best approach to cover the Durable Finish with Classic Finish.
Should I sand the Extra Durrable Finish elevations or can I just cover these elevations with the Classic Finish?

Although there are lots of helpful people around on this site, that's a very specific and unusual question. If I were you, I'd phone Sadolin and ask for their technical department. Most decent manufacturers are geared up to answer questions like this about their own products.
