Had a look and:
- Blade is flat.
- Contact area in plane body for blade clear and square (as best as I can tell).
- Camber on blade shouldn't make much of a difference having had a closer look, but I take your point Matthew and will square it up.
I think the blockage you see in the photo is definately down to the cap iron edge picking up bits so will try out the suggestions to sort it.
However, even once this is sorted the gap still looks quite small at about 1mm or less. Is this right?
