Many thanks to Alie for offering all the yew on this thread: https://www.ukworkshop.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=33929, BSM was (very) kind enough to help out with the transport elements and now I am the very proud owner of about a tonne of yew.
Excelletnt wood and there's still a lot of good stuff left - so hard not to over load the truck
Seriously folks - fill your boots if you're any where near Maidenhead; it was well worth the 90 min trip (well actually 2.5 hours of Friday rush hour), the woods really nice and Alie's a bl88dy good bloke and was very helpful (and handy) with the chain saw.
Picture to follow, and hopefully some bowls
