Wixey Digital height gauge

Has anyone fitted a Wixey digital height gauge to a Planer/Thicknesser? I’m picking up a Record Power PT260 and am thinking about fitting one. All the YouTube videos I’ve seen are fitted to either a Planer or a Thicknesser and not a combined unit. Cheers.

I fitted a Wixey like this to a PT107, 300mm/ 12" Wixey Remote Planer Readout With Fractions and it is only for the thicknesser.

We fit them inside the base, usually attached the the stabiliser rod…..but it’s dependant on model. This keeps them away fro. The dust and dirt as well as keeping the machine looking good without ‘add ons’ that detracts from its value in resale.
