Windows XP

I am currently runnung Windows XP which takes it upon itself to remember such things as log on names and often passwords. So that when you type the first letters of the user name it automatically pops up from the last log in. My problem is simply this, how do I stop this happening and remove the stored user names. I hope I have explained this so thst it can be understood.

Gary,

This isn't XP it is your browser so it depend upon which browser you are using.

Firefox: Tools->Options... Click on the Privacy tab and unselect the remember password toggle.

I.E: Tools->Internet Options... Content Tab, Personal Information Button then unselect user names and passwords from the auto complete form.

Don't use any of the other browsers so no help if you aren't using Firefox or I.E.

Just confirms my opinion that I should leave the PC along and go to the workshop.
