I think they will as i want to go permanently pinless and not need to use the horrific adaptors any longer where you need to fit them to the end of the blades with 2 allen bolts that take an age to get fitted right and a pita when they slip during a cut!

will these fit?

Looking at the machines they look identical to mine, but just want to get opinions before I order and be disappointed when they dont :)

What's the difference? They're still allen key clamps so wouldn't speed anything up would they?

Having said that, the end of yours looks exactly like the end of mine but I can't see how the ones you linked would fasten to it? Or am I missing a good trick here?

I'm a very infrequent scroll saw user but I did it on a similar machine I was given, however when I got it there was no facility for pinless blades

hope this helps

The problems I've had with those clamps are :-

... lack of grip on the blade (which can be improved drastically with a couple of simple modifications - cut a slot in the clamp, sand the surfaces that grip the blade).
... rounding of the hex hole due to the excessive force needed to overcome the above problem.

thanks all.

@ Aggrajag : to change the blade i need to use 2 allen keys to remove each of the end bits, then try to thread the new blade without it going off centre on both ends, then fit to the scrollsaw and tension. if the attachments are not aligned then either the tension will be incorrect (and need to refit the ends) or the blade may slip. The item i linked to are new 'ends' for the saw itself where you fit the blade and tighten up there so essentially to change a blade just unscrew, replace tighten, rather than needing to remove the blade, and fit the ends, then get it back on...

Also the bits replace the silver end fittings, so it will be pinless only.

@katellwood, thanks, looks like the order will be fine.

@NazNomad thanks for the heads up regarding the mods, where do you need to cut the slot? is it to enable the block to close easier?

i getcha, i saw (no pun intended) a picture when googling and couldnt see how the cut would do anything without breaking the actual mount, then on the link you just gave that is the point!!

will take a look prior to fitting :) thanks

I've also seen people use a (small version of) a bicycle wheel quick-release to completely do away with the Allen screw.
