Who was asking about Carroll sanders?

A month or two back a couple of people were asking me about Carroll sanders. I've accidentlly erased all my PMs

and I'm afraid I can't remember who they were!

Anyway, I've now found them (the sanders, not the PMs) so if you PMd me before and would like to do so again, please do so.

Hi Steve,

I was asking about the chance of borrowing one to make a chinese copy of the mechanism they use to grip the paper.

It came out of a discussion that I think involved Olly PJ regarding the extortionate price of large Jet drums and the desirability of both cheaper ones and the ability to use sandpaper off the roll.

if you are selling them and the previous 'applicants' don't get back to you I'd be interested. What sizes are they?

25mm and 50mm, although both sizes are nominal, more like 22 and 45 in reality, so they will comfortably sand 25 and 50 with clearance.

I really ought to find the original interested parties, as I said I would find them. They may be over at Tom's now, I guess.
