...which unzip?

[lastminute]

..just paid for and downloaded a jig plan from garagewoodworks...but the free Elite unzip file won't open it
...don't know how I have that particular program, can anyone suggest a reliable one to download which will work!!

Loads of free unzip software. 7zip, winzip, unzip. etc. do a search for free versions and you should be able to unzip. otherwise PM me and i'll do it for you and put on a download site for you.

Both free and the best I've tried.

Thanks guys...downloaded winzip ok....up pops a window asking me to register...or use evaluation code etc ????

You don't say what operating system you have but in the latest windows systems you should get a right click option to unzip. (Extract all)
Usually dragging and dropping to a new folder does it.

Be careful installing third party Unzips such as WinZip, they often disable the built in unzip function and unless uninstalled correctly leave the registry with the wrong associations.

the best and most powerful program for zip files is WinRar.

this will also extract other archive files.

As mentioned depending on your OS it will be built in already.
