where did my post go

about 2 years ago i posted about wanting some olive wood in planks
last week a chap in nottingham replied saying he had large stocks
I mentioned that I would ring him after the weekend
Been to look for the post for his number and cant find it
I can search on google and find the heading but when i click on that it says " you are not authorised to read that"

If I search the forum I cant find it...wheres it gone?

I would say the mods have deleted it.

When logged in, can you see it through the "View your posts" link near the "User Tools" menu on the right hand side of the screen?

You won't find it that way. The google search just took him to a cached copy of the thread. That is why you have to be careful with what you say on an open forum, everything gets stored by google forever once it's posted.
