Where can i get the lubricating spray that you can put on a thicknesser bed to stop the timber sticking?

Wurth do it. It's called Wud Slide

Felder supply stuff called Gleit. Supposedly will not cause any problems with subsequent glue ups and finishing unlike wax. Used it for years and it works well.

I use Liberon Lubricating Wax on my machines. It's not a spray - you apply it with a cloth and it's very easy to use. It also prevents rust.

i would use a drying wax that can be polished off, sometimes clean beforehand with thinners to remove resins. the liquid sprays do tend to soak into the wood.
