I'm after 9 pairs of the Blum Tandem Plus drawer runners (560H5000B).

This type of quality doesn't come cheap but there must be some outlets that do some discount over say IssacLord/Woodfit.

Any hints welcomed on where you buy Blum with good pricing?

If you can get woodfit to treat you as trade you will get them about 40% less.

Today fitted the 9 pairs of drawer runners. The prospect of accurately marking the position of 4 pilot-holes in18 runners seemed a tiresome prospect, so made a drill template from a plywood off-cut.

It’s quick to make and easy to use. I’m sure this isn’t original, but it might be useful to someone.

Pic 1: The template is drilled with holes corresponding to the runner fixing holes. Do this with the runner based positioned on the template base edge. Make sure the runner is inset along the template the required distance, in my case measured 37mm using rule (edge to the 4th fixing hole). Drill the template with corresponding runner hole positions.

Pic 2: To use, clamped the template against the face frame inner edge (that takes care of the horizontal hole alignment), and adjusted the template vertical position so that the template base is equal to the frame rail surface (that’s the vertical alignment). Once in position drill the pilot holes as required. I marked the template to use differing fixing holes depending on whether drilling for a left or right sided runner. This avoids the fixing screws trying to share the same space where runners are on adjacent sides of a panel.

Pic 3: Quickly the runners are fitted without fuss.

Thanks for all the contributions.
