It coincides generally with people's last pay packet of the year. It's psychological; people are stressed and panicking about Christmas shopping, suddenly a nice sum of money appears and there just happens to be a ton of sales on.

I managed to get a bargain on a tumble dryer which is for the good lady wife's birthday next weekend, though if I'm honest it wasn't a planned "Black Friday" purchase, I just had time to get her surprise pressie yesterday morning whilst she was busy, that said I'm not complaining about getting a decent discount \/ \/

If i bought my lady a tumble dryer for her birthday, i'd probably end up inside it. :evil:
