Hi all,

It's been over a month since I've had any shop time and now I have the weekend off. Only problem is I have a sheet and a half of spare 3/4 good quality ply and on't know what to build. Was thinking something for the workshop. Yep it is building for the sake of it... So what!!! :D

Anyone got any suggestions for a weekend project?

Got the time to build, just don't know what to build :?:

Cheers guys.

I would definitly recommend a hanging tool cabinet, I knocked one up with a range of waste ply that i had laying around, took only a few hours, and has been a huge help in keeping me organised. If you run a search on the forum you should find the thread.

Here's a pic of it:

Thats a nice tool cabinet you got there Byron, just what I could do with. I will have to see if someone can build me one. I would if I had the time. At the moment most of my hand tools are sitting on shelves or hanging around the shop!

Well I made it into the shop. Some of you may remember a long time back I bought a SIP t/s after lots of advice on here, and then a few months back I bought an EB3. Well after waiting a month for the EB3 I never got around to using it.

Decided to just check and adjust the t/s alignment... pig of a job on the sip. Alsogot the EB3 aligned... Oh it's time to pack up. Never got any work done.

Already have a :norm: router table awaiting some drawers. Ordered some slides from Buller, just waiting for them to turn up.

I think the hanging tool chest may be the one tomorrow, not many hand tools tho, unless there are any better ideas in the mean time.
