hi

loz no belts to mess with on this puppy, as wiz said its electronic and i love it all ready .the left hand side spindle is just for gadgets i think so will put a buffing mop on that end.the bowl i done today was only about 7",so going to try 12" next see how it handles that.

Good luck with the new lathe. I've never heard of Flott, any chance of a photo or website please, I can't find anything?

I've also never heard of "Flott" lathes, but have seen Flott drilling machines in the Meddings catalogue.

For those that arn't awarte of Meddings, they produce some of the finest drilling machines money can buy, so I would assume that the Flott brand machines are also pretty high calibre. IIRC the Flott range of drills were considerably smaller than the Medings, so probably for a specialised market. Electronics maybe??
