What router for £250?
Was looking at Bosch GOF 1300 CE Professional but is out of stock.

How does this compare to the Makita 3612C?

Thats quite important for me and im not sure the ones you can by separatly come with all the foam cut out for a router. What have you done for a box or did you get one with yours?
I'm looking for a replacement router as well, and did consider the 625, but for me, it's waaaay too heavy for hand held use, so I'll probably go for the smaller and lighter 621 - Robmark aspin":y6gic5bm said:This is the one I've got but I paid £249 for it at the time! I find that although it's big, it's very easy to handle and relatively light for handheld use.

I've just had a look at the specs for the 622 and it looks like a more useful router than the smaller 621. A little heavier, but the ability to fit half inch router bits makes it better for me - RobJensmith":2mlwduaf said:I have just got the DW 621k and it's been great so far. Dust extraction is fantastic too. also comes in a 1/2" version - the 622 I think it is.
