Hi all just been looking on fleabay and there is a clarke css18c scroll saw on that is not a million miles away any one familar with this model

If this is the saw I think it is (photo of a Nutool model below) it is a C-arm saw. Rather than the blade moving straight up and down, it moves in an arc. I haven't used one but I have read that they have a more aggressive cut than the more usual parallel arm saws. Single speed and pinned blade only, I think, though no doubt one could be adapted for the Axminster clamps.

Are you sure its a css18c and not a css16c ? can't find anything on a 18" Clarke saw but there's plenty of the 16" saws for sale......... maybe its a discontinued model from Clarke and might be bad for getting spare parts etc.
Some if the other members will be along later and may have more info about the saw
Cheers
Brian
