How about Baltimore, the original one that is, in County Cork. We had a great trip out of there last summer. There is no guarantee of seeing whales, but you often see dolphins and sometimes basking sharks. Also, the whole area is absolutely great for slow pace of life (and Murphys of course!)

Well we have decided on Alaska from Heath row to Vancouver Pan Pacific Vancouver Hotel for 2 night's and then cruise for 7 nights i just hope i see the whale's .Although i'm not looking forward to the flights to and from CANADA
 
I'm very lucky, i whale watch everyday from my armchair while drinking my morning brew :lol:

Just seen the thread & im too late , but Hermanus in South Africa is excellent for Whale watching , flight times not too bad , prices good & no jetlag , cheers Tony
