Well the last box does say TRICK, I don't see how it can be anything but :shock:

Fascinating site. Interesting fusion of Arts and Crafts with traditional Japanese (there's a sentence I never expected to write... :lol: ). My absolute favourite piece has to be the box in Japanese Horse Chestnut. What a stunning piece of timber. :shock: Great workshop too; wish the pics were a bit bigger so I could drool in detail.

What a craftsman and I would like to say inspiration to us all but suspect the only person capable of such feats is you (after seeing your hidden dovetails) :wink:

These seem to be a featured article in the magazines, on a about a 3 year loop-cycle.

IIRC DC even features them in one of his books.

Amazing ennit?

The "trick" finger type joints. My theory is that the 'key' shaped fingers on one half are in fact mitred splines, but can't be sure as you can't see the corner clearly.
