Wet room

I am in the process of doing a wet room and decided to install the wet room tray myself as the last bathroom we had done the plumber did not make a good job of the installation. What make wet room tray can anyone recommend? I have a very good tiler to do the tiling just want to get the tray and prep work done properly.

If it's a wet room should there not be no tray? Are you putting in a shower tray and then tiling flush with that.

I'm doing a wet room myself at the moment and i don't have a shower tray. I will be tanking the whole room before the tiler comes and they will then use levelling compound to get his falls for the waste water drain.

it’s called a wet room tray which comes with the falls drain built in

Thanks had never heard or ever seen one of them before.

They seem more expensive than shower trays which is odd considering you need to get them tiled after fitting.

Hope it works out for you which ever brand you go for.

I used a Wedi one, not cheap but going strong nearly 20 years on.
