went shopping yesterday

Managed to resist buying one of those big bandsaws, decided even if it does cut to a depth of 12", I couldn't lift the timber up to the table if I bought one.

So got my table saw blade resharpened whilst I waited, Davenport Saws Yeovil, 01935 425311, they do a postal service.

Called in on you know who, and then managed to get these timber offcuts on my way home, and kept my bank balance healthy.

Thanks for the tip on Davenport Saws. I've just e-mailed them to see what they would charge to regrind a set of planer knives (normally, this would be a job for Ian John - but, last time I asked him about this, he wasn't setup for sharpening knives himself ).
