A few days I posted a picture of my water lily box open
because I was unable to post more than one picture. I couldn't
post a picture of it closed, so here it is.

Harry.

Sorry the picture didn't go, try again

What a well crafted Lilly! On top of a good looking box.
Is the finish applied to the Lilly before assembly or after? I'm assuming if after the finish could be sprayed.

The lily and box was cut on a scroll saw, the lily petals were cut from sycamore.
The whole thing was assembled and given a coat of sand and seal, followed by several coats of
cellulose high gloss, rubbed down in between coats with wet and dry paper.

A finnicky job then Lumberman, clearly well carried out. Great. Thanks for your reply, you have given me something to think about.
