I'm looking for a second hand copy (3 vols) of this if anyone has one, or the Shorter Dictionary of English furniture by Ralph Edwards (1 volume). Also if anyone has a copy of 'Oak an English Tradition' by Victor Chinnery, I'd be interested in hearing from you via a PM if you're thinking of selling.

Thanks- I saw that but I was hoping someone might have all three volumes - Amazon only had vol 3 - but I've ordered it anyway. Still looking out for the Chinnery book at a reasonable price.

If you scroll down the Abe books page there is a set of all 3 but in USA so postage is a bit higher.
V Chinnery is on Abe books too - but also from USA. I bought one myself some time ago and it was not a problem just a bit slow.
Correct title is "Oak Furniture, The British Tradition" I think.

Thanks - Classic Hand Tools had the Chinnery book on their website but they got back to me to say it is out of print, worst luck as they had the latest edition advertised.
