walnut for sale?

Hello,

Any ideas where I can buy a chuck or two of walnut, mail order? I keep getting outbid on Ebay, and it's starting to p!ss me off!

Well there is a timber yard up the road from me called GoodTimber, they are very friendly and they have planned offcuts of all sorts of wood at the back of the shop. They had some nice big chunks of walnut and some thinner planks. Ring them up and ask them to send them to you I'm sure they would. It was black walnut I saw not sure if they have the normal or not as I wasn't looking for that.

what do you need - ive got some chunks in the woodstore and might part with one or two for beer vouchers- its mainly turning blanks tho rather than long thin flatworld stuff

also yandles have a load of ABW generally

BSM - that's very kind, but it was the long(ish) flat variety that I'm after.
