Wall plaque for a Goth.

My Granddaughter Ali who is a full time Goth and part time model asked me to make her a wall plaque.
It might not be everybody's cup of tea but Ali likes it.
This plaque is 12" x 27" x 1"

I like it! Those concentric circles give it a real feeling of movement.

Thats pritty cool, how did you do the grooves? router and circle jig?

The grooves were done with a spindle gouge on the lathe.

The sort of thing that I really like even though I admit it wouldn't be something I would want on my bedroom wall. LOL.

Really effective. The cross looks as though it is convex, is that just your clever use of colouring or has it been added afterwards?
