I have never been drawn to metalwork, hated it at school and have always veered towards working with wood. However, wood needs to be processed and what better way than with a wonderfully restored Wadkin machine. My first proper job was working in a factory making caravans and i ended up in the machine shop for a long stint. All the machinery was Wadkin and it was a pleasure to use. Made feel all nostalgic watching this restoration. Thank you, wonderful job.
