Ive just been fortunate enough to purchase this Wadkin BGS 10 inch saw. needs a bit of work but really a good saw. I've stripped down the sliding table and adjusted a huge amount of play on the bearing. Given the top surface a good clean and sand down. sorted out a broken fence clamping mechanism too. Need to set up the main table square to the sliding table now, fix a lot of slack and stiffness in the rise and fall and tilt adjustments. The most work will be to re-make the top part of the sliding extension table. The main part is there, but the sliding parts had disappeared a long time ago. I've ordered all the material and now for a few hours on the lathe to machine it all up. Does anyone know whats the procedure to align the main table ?
