Vintage staple gun

I recently picked this beautifully engineered vintage stapler which works perfectly from a car boot sale i cant find another one like it on any selling sites or search sites there’s no makers marks only the No 2FF157 twice on the sole and the plate riveted on the Handel any help identifying it would be appreciated

There is a reasonable amount of information available on the parent company, Packers Supply Co Ltd.

On anything that says it is patented, it is worth a search on espacenet:

However, their patents seem more geared to metal strapping than to staplers.
