So you think you can shoot a handgun. Check this one out.
Try it: see how good you are with a Russian pistol. ( All text is in Russian. )
Save money and ammunition too!

The virtual pistol is a Soviet Tokarev Model 40, in calibre 7.62 mm.
It is quite accurate. Being virtual, it will lack the actual 'feel' and the recoil.
In real life, at each shot, the recoil will throw your aim off the target.

When the pistol appears, click on the trigger, take aim, and fire.
It’s very much like the real thing.
The longer you hold the pistol, the more your aim will wander.

You have 3 shots in 30 seconds to hit the target and get your score.

Thanks DW - very addictive! Fortunately, I managed to ace it with a 30 in 4s - so the weekend's safe!

By the way, video games from Belarus - you're not a sleeper cell are you? I've now got a nagging feeling that there's somebody in the Kremlin watching me via my webcam and trawling through my holiday snaps...

They'll probably have to timeshare bandwidth with the British and American security services.

To be honest they can fill their boots - so long as they tidy things up, categorise properly, get rid of the duplicates and touch up all the ones where I'm gurning and blinking at the flash.

Should be OK, the guy that sent it to me was a naval officer and entrapped a soviet sub in an area that hit the headlines many years ago. (he was radar) when he retired from the navy he was employed by Microsoft as a programmer and knows quite a few computer languages.

Now I have to keep trying to reach 30 again.
That way madness lies! Step away from the mouse!

Edit:
Oh, dear ...

http://deti.mil.by/flash/?id=1 DW's original pistol game, but opens in the middle of the screen (the original link opens in the bottom left of my screen for some reason...)
http://deti.mil.by/flash/?id=9 Shoot targets with a rifle, nowhere near as addictive
http://deti.mil.by/flash/?id=2 Fun with artillery (I haven't got a scooby on this one!) 2 knobs to twiddle training and elevation, press the red button and miss - every time!

I've really got to stop this now...

30 in 6, 4th attempt.
Quite good, I have only ever fired cap and ball revolver.
Are we be recruited for something?

I couldn't work out the scoring TBH. The most I could get was 10.

But this is my best effort. All nicking the bull, but the grouping was cr*ppp .

I found it easier to use 'rapid fire'.
Like someone said. Addictive and fun. Thanks..
