You may want to check the max current rating of your chosen inverter, and of the motor. I bought a 1.1KW inverter and found a 1.1KW rated motor, but the inverter was rated at 5amps max continious current, and during anything more than light cuts the motor would draw closer to 6amps. So I found that the inverter will occasionally cut out and have to be reset. Long term abusing it in this way would probably lead to some component burning out.
