Managed to gets two coats of acrylic varnish on yesterday (good weather around)
 
Had a good morning, cut off a 100mm wide slice from a 75mm thick sycamore board and got pieces suitable for five more boxes.

Took the precaution of weighing down the boards with this very very heavy length of what I think is Greenheart wood which I beachcombed from our local beach some years ago.

Spent the day of Friday looking out for Devon farm girls, so project delayed slightly,

Additional five boxes requested.

40 mitred corners plus 15 cross cuts.

Family and neighbours have reserved the remaining boxes shown below.

I must admit I prefer to make an individual box rather than a series, it can become a chore, and there is more time to make amendments.

Requests this weekend for additional tissue boxes,(repeats).

So if anyone wants a part time hobby/workshop there would be a steady demand.
