Using lime for drawer sides/backs?

I think I'd be taking up Aiden's offer to swap the lime for some oak.

Your wife's box will look much better with the drawer sides matching the rest of the piece, and will perfom better, too.

The use of a 'utility' timber for drawer boxes, while traditional, looks a little cheapskate to me. And while lime is not a utility timber, in this setting it will look like one!

Says a man who generally uses lipped off-cuts of veneered MDF for his drawer boxes!

Cheers
Dan
