Uses for old bandsaw blades?

Actually I have a brand new blade (one of records 'high quality' blades) that has to be the naffest blade in the world and is about as much use as a chocolate fireguard.

At least 5 mm out of line and vibrates like a vibrating thing from vibrate town!

As a lifelong tight@rse I'm loathe to just bin it and wondered if anyone has ever come up with any uses for old blades?

This uses jigsaw blades but perhaps something similar could be done with old bandsaw blades

You could make up a scratch stockand grind two diffirent profiles on each end of your cut bandsaw blade, a poor(tight)man's router. I used to use them all the time, I have about 50 diffirent ones.

If its faulty get it replaced record are very good with warranty etc.
