This is a pair of reddiseals pre-tensioned on a bottom sash that is not staying up satisfactorily.
These are a dark art to me at the moment and technical are away just now .
I did give it one turn as specified but no joy.
Has anyone used these and can tell me please if the grey plastic nut and outer spring at the bottom of the tube stays put when pulling on the connector, this doesn't and the whole lot comes out.
It's a ULB28-20.0.
I'm thinking that only the spiral should extend past the plastic nut like the standard balances...
