Well I've been having fun and games PC-wise for most of this week, but at last all the problems (the serious ones, anyway) appear to have been resolved.

In cleaning up and getting up-to-date, I've installed IE7, which has tabbed browsing. But when I click on a hyperlink in any UKW thread, it opens up a new IE process, not just a new tab.

Is there a setting I need to change in my browser, or in my site preferences somewhere?

I was hoping all this upgrading would bring WWChannel back to me, but no such luck :(

Any help gratefully received.

Well thanks Roger, BUT...

It's set to open in a new tab but actually opens in a new window!

Weird or what?

Edit: Sorted. Even though it was set to open in a new tab, it didn't, but if I change it and then changed it back, all is well.

Harrumph!

Anyway, thanks very much for your help.

Check the boxes (from the top) n the Tab Settings as follows:

1 - 2 - 4 - 6 - 7

Then the 3rd button in the middle section

Then the middle button in the lower section

Restart IE and see what happens

Hi Steve,
Do a search for 'crafty tv'. You can get alsorts of progs on there INCLUDING the woodworking channel. You did me a great favour telling me about it, so it's time to reurtn the favour. Sorry I don't know how to put up a link, but you should find it with that.

cheers, sliver. :)
OOPS! Err. Look in the lifestyle section.
