Anyone local to me (Bradford, Leeds, Skipton, West Yorkshire) that could offer some basic turning lessons, etc. Beer tokens would be provided or more if necessary. :lol:

Dibs, I'm on the other (right) side of the Pennines, but you would be welcome to come over for few hours and I could go through the basics (no payment required), but I'm relatively new to it myself. That said, if I were you, I'd get to a local turning club. I had a huge amount of free tuition at my club. Or, have a day with a pro - for £120, my day with Tracy Owen was money extremely well spent and he's only in Northwich.
