Turned Oak two ways.

Here is a plate made of Satin Walnut (Red Gum) and White Oak arranged to represent the sky over the windblown prairie fields. It is 11 3/4" across and 5/8" high, finished with Tried and True, a Linseed oil and wax food safe product. The pen is from along side the knot that was to the left of the plate. Finished with CA glue and buffed to shine.
